yakkha: in popular belief, a kind of ghost, goblin. or ogre.

yáma-deva: are a kind of heavenly beings of the sensuous world; s. deva.

yoniso manasikára: 'thorough attention' or wise consideration': s. manasikára.

youth-infatuation: s. mada.

yuganaddha: s. samatha-vipassaná.
